Sean Cooper is the President and CCO of Fit Financial Consulting LLC and best-selling author of “The Truth About Investing: Back to Basics”. Sean attained his MBA with a focus in finance from the University of Colorado and his BSBA with a major in finance from the University of Denver. Sean is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, or CFA®, and Certified Financial Planner™ designation, or CFP®. He enrolled in the CFA Program to obtain the highest set of credentials in the global investment management industry. The CFA designation is globally recognized and attests to a charterholder’s success in a rigorous and comprehensive study program in the field of investment management and research analysis. In addition to his dedication to the ongoing study of finance and investing, Sean has spent his entire career in the Finance industry. During his undergraduate degree, he worked as an On-call Branch Office Administrator at Edward Jones, then as an Internal Wholesaler of fixed, fixed-indexed, and variable annuities for Jackson National Life and finally as a Business Development Consultant at WealthOne for Jackson and their subsidiary, National Planning Holdings/National Planning Corporation before founding Fit Financial Consulting LLC in 2014.
