Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson serves as Secretary of the East Lewis County Chamber of Commerce and is the pastor of Morton Community Bible Church. Originally sent to Morton by Village Missions, Matthew and his family moved to the community in June 2023 and quickly became involved in local life.

In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Matthew supports several community organizations, including the Roxy Theater, Arbor Health, and the local school district, where he serves as a substitute bus driver and paraeducator. He also volunteers with Pastor’s Pantry food bank and serves as a chaplain with Lewis County Chaplaincy, a role he has held since February 2024.

Through both his church and Chamber service, Matthew is committed to sharing the gospel, strengthening relationships in East Lewis County, and creating practical opportunities for neighbors to connect, serve, and thrive together.
